The project consisted of two separate, existing dwellings, each requiring extending. The main extension creates a magnificent open plan kitchen and dining room with large patio doors to the outside, a fourth bedroom, bathroom and utility room.  The second provides a large entrance hall, (which also houses a pumped well and filtration system) and a dedicated office. Each of the extensions has been added in a sympathetic manner, using local materials to retain their existing character, historical features and dimensions.
